What will the morning bring?
Submitted by Pam Burton
Some would gather money
Along the path of life;
Some would gather roses
And rest from earthly strife;
But I would gather children
From among the thorns of sin;
I would seek a childish curl
And a freckled, toothless grin.
For money cannot enter
Into the land of endless day,
And roses that are gathered
Soon will wilt along the way;
But, oh, the laughing children,
As I cross the sunset sea,
And the gates swing wide to Heaven
I can take them in with me.

Jesus Blesses Little Children
Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.
