5-Day Club Host Instructions

Children smiling

Statistics show that 85% of all who accept Christ do so between the ages of four and fourteen. Your decision to have a 5-Day Club in your neighborhood will benefit those children who otherwise would never hear about Jesus Christ, and know how much God loves them. For those children who go to church, the club will promote growth in their Christian walk.

Your Club will be held for five consecutive days, 1 1⁄2 hour each day. Children will hear Bible stories, sing songs, learn Bible verses, listen to a missionary story and hear the Gospel clearly presented.

Some ideas to encourage the students for attendance and participation during the game segments are providing extra goodies, gift cards or treats (individually wrapped snacks are highly recommended).

In efforts to lessen the burden and to bless the ministry team, we encourage the church to provide lunch and/or dinner (depending on the schedule for the week). This can be done in several simple ways: the church could provide lunches from fast food restaurants along the route to club locations; a group of volunteers from the church could provide a meal each day for the students at the church; or the church/volunteers could pack bag lunches to send with the students.

Our 5-Day Club® teachers go out in faith that God will provide their needs. Your free-will gift of any amount would be greatly appreciated.  Please be in prayer now for your teacher and the children that will be coming to your Club.

It's easy to become a 5-Day Club Host!

VERY IMPORTANT!!! Once you signed up as a 5-Day Club host, our Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) students expect to be at your club on the agreed week. Cancellation would cause our students not being able to complete their CYIA training program as a summer missionary. Therefore, please pray and recruit before you commit to host.

Step 1: Fill out the 5-Day Club Host Registration Form accurately.

SUPER IMPORTANT!!! STEP 2 AND STEP 3 below must be completed in order to be on our waitlist.

Step 2: Read, watch and sign a Ministry Compliance Agreement Form.

Step 3: Complete the Online Background Check (Mandatory for all New Host, and once every 5 years for a returning host)

Be sure not to leave any blank field, even if it says "skip for 5-yr screening"; if you were able to submit the $15 payment by credit card successfully, that means you've successfully copmleted your Background Check.

Step 4: Follow the 5-Day Club Host Checklist step by step to ensure a successful club.

From experience, we recommend you plan for a 3-hour 5-Day Club experience. Parents usually don't just want to drop off the kids for 1.5 hours. In addition to the 1.5 hours teaching from our CYIA team, we encourage you to have your own helpers organize food, games, crafts, and/or worship to make it longer VBS experience.
