5 Day Club
"When I taught Sunday School many years ago, the gospel message was not incorporated into each lesson. I couldn’t remember ever asking the students if they would like to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There was a theme for each quarter, such as Heroes of Faith, Missions, Creation, etc. The salvation message was thoroughly explained in a separate curriculum about Spiritual life. If the director of Sunday School didn’t order this packet, then the kids could not have heard the Good News about Jesus. I guess it was assumed the kids will eventually learn about it if they keep going to Sunday School. How sad! The writers of the 5-Day Club lessons made a very conscious effort to teach the saved and unsaved child."
