Lesson 5: God Rescues His People
Big Idea: You can praise God that He is always at work in your life.
The book of Esther has such a satisfying ending—God’s people are saved and His
enemies destroyed! Throughout the whole book, God’s hand has been moving, working, and preparing for this glorious ending. And the result? Praise! The book of Esther is a reminder that God does work all things together for good. In our lives God may graciously give us glimpses of His purposes somewhere along the journey or we may not see this till the end. Regardless of whether we can see the ending or not, our command and our joy is to praise the sovereign God who guides our steps.
