Lesson 1: Jesus Teaches with Power
Big Idea: You can know God through Jesus.
We have access to the Creator of the universe, who loves us personally. In fact, He sent His only Son to bring a new level of revelation to us. Through Jesus we see the attributes of the Father displayed in tangible ways. Jesus is the healer, protector, provider, and so much more. Jesus is the perfect Savior, who teaches us about God and gives us complete access to His throne of grace. This topical evangelistic Bible lesson lays the foundation of who Jesus is.
In this lesson series, the children will learn The Lord’s Prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13. Wonder Time each week will further explain The Lord’s Prayer and emphasize the significance of daily time with God in a believer’s life.
Scriptures: Hebrews 1:1-2; Matthew 4:23-25; John 10:22-31; 14:1-6; Mark 1:21-22; 7:1-9
Memory Verse: Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. (Matthew 6:9)
