God's Sovereignty: Life of Joseph 2

Lesson 2 Joseph Sold By His Brothers

Big Idea Our sovereign God knows what He is doing and He is always in control.

That’s the theme of today’s teaching—God is in control. This growth narrative Bible lesson illustrates God’s sovereignty through the life of Joseph. Joseph went from being his father’s favorite to being a slave bound for Egypt. Yet in it all, God’s plan prevailed and His sovereignty remained. The saved child is reminded that even in his hardest situations, God is in control. In the memory verse time, we reviewed Philippians 1:6, and continued to emphasize God’s sovereignty.

God’s children have total access to Him. Throughout this week, please encourage the children to bring their requests and worries to God.
