Lesson 5: God's Plan Revealed

Big Idea Because of God’s grace, He offers forgiveness through the Savior.

God’s grace is astounding!

This lesson highlights the amazing grace of God that offers forgiveness to all.

Grace is God’s undeserved love and kindness—not getting what we deserve, but receiving what we don’t deserve. Because of God’s grace, children can be redeemed and experience the many blessings God has for them.

Joseph’s brothers had been so cruel to him but Joseph displayed God’s grace and forgiveness. In the world’s eyes Joseph had the right to give them the punishment they deserved but he chose forgiveness instead. In a greater way, God has the right to pour out His wrath on us but instead, by His grace, He chose forgiveness and paid the price. Joseph knew that God was in control of his situation. God worked everything for good. The saved child is reminded that God works all things for the good of His children.
