Light of Life Cheer (Word Up!): Jesus is the Light!

We are all born into the world with a problem called sin that we need to be saved from. The Bible says that sin is like darkness because it blinds us from seeing the truth and keeps us separated from God. Jesus is totally different from everything bad or untrue. Jesus is the light to everyone in the world! There is no darkness of sin in Him. He came to make the way for people to be saved from the darkness of sin.

To follow Jesus means to choose God’s way by believing in Jesus as your Savior from sin. When you do this, God saves you from your sin and even comes to live inside of you. You are no longer lost in the darkness of your sin. You are able to be near God and He can show you the right way to live. He gives you new life with God that lasts forever. This new life is like a light that helps you see the truth and know how to live.
