A Christmas Question

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel (which means, God with us).” - Matthew 1:23 ESV

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. -Isaiah 9:6 ESV

“And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. A Christmas Question

Have we a personal interest in the Child that was born at Bethlehem?

Do we know that He is our Savior?

Do we know that He has brought glad tidings to us?

Do we know that to us He belongs? And that we belong to him?

Dear beloved, the greatest joy is to know Christ as my Saviour, my Christ, my Lord. Will you declare in a simple faith of what you know to be the true peace and the lasting joy which the angel's song predicts for men?
