He is God!

Dear CEF® San Gabriel Valley Family and Friends,
Job 35:10 "... God my Maker, who gives songs in the night."
We praise God for His sovereignty and faithfulness! Despite all the challenges, our chapter is continuously blessed to stay on mission.
Because our chapter office is under construction, God blessed us with a new neighbor Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church who opened up their building next door for our teacher training use. As a result, 39 team members and children's ministry workers attended the Fall Super Seminar and Refresher Workshop. Moreover, our Arcadia area's bi-weekly Team Building and Training Sessions continue to be blessed from this arrangement.
With the ever changing policy updates, various clubs had to postpone the start date and get creative with the student recruitment and flyer distribution methods. But the Lord is good! As of last week, all 20 JYou Connection and Good News Clubs are open and on mission to reach children for Christ! In particular, we thank God for Pastor Mike Galindo and the Charter Oak Lighthouse Church children ministry team who picked up the baton and made it possible for the Good News Club to reopen at Glen Oak Elementary School.
Even in the midst of the pandemic, God opened doors for Fair Ministry! At the Bite-sized LA County Fair, 419 people heard the gospel and 64 accepted Christ as their Savior. Moreover, the gospel reached 20 people at the AIB2B Walnut Family Festival this past weekend.
To quote Charles Spurgeon's Morning and Evening, "Since our Maker gives songs in the night, let us not remain songless because affliction is upon us, but tune thou our lips to the melody of thanksgiving." Let us rejoice in the Lord! Praise Him for He is God!
