'Tis The Season

Matthew 1:23 "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they will call his name Immanuel" (which means, God with us). Isn't our God wonderful and faithful! He named His one and only son as a promise and a reminder to us all that He will always be with us.

Let's continue to reflect on his name IMMANUEL, God with us. When we lost a loved one, God is with us; when we felt alone, God is with us; when we decided to send our kids to college, God is with us; the decision to retire, God is with us; after knowing a diagnosis from a doctor that came as a surprise, God is with us; adding a new addition to our family, God is with us; feeling uneasy with the world, God is with us. We have many testimonies of how Immanuel, God with us faithfully reveals himself. From our Committee and Staff, our desire and prayer as the new year is approaching, for all of us is to have a grateful attitude, a generous heart, and an optimistic spirit knowing who our God is, our IMMANUEL! 

As you prepare yourself in the season of giving we are grateful to have a common denominator, we are recipients from a generous God who gave us the GREATEST gift of all...our SAVIOR Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
